Eat / Sleep Wales

Having spent much of our time on the road, eating and sleeping in a range of establishments from the sublime to the utterly forgettable, we feel it would be useful if we shared our intelligence with other crews. Introducing the 'Golden Pixel standard'. It's simple: we only list places to eat and stay if we think they are worthy (we won't bother listing duffers). We'll rank them with three, four or five golden pixels.

somewhere we would happily patronise, where there is nothing at all wrong with the place and everything is as you should expect.

Four is where there is something special going on (inventive menu, sublime location, outstanding hospitality or some other touch)

Five is where they have achieved something close to perfection.

You won't find Michelin guide style of writing here. Just good, honest, interpretation of our experiences.
