Production of a bi-lingual recruitment DVD.
Brief: To create a bi-lingual DVD for the Teaching and Leadership division, to be used as a recruitment aid to the National Professional Qualification for Headship. To design the graphics for the DVD case and disc and replicate 25 copies. This was a five day, two man shoot (camera and sound), edited and subtitled at Pixel Foundry's AVID equipped post-production facility and authored to DVD with bi-lingual menu option. 25 DVD's were replicated. This project was turned around in an extremely tight time-frame. Read an extract from the satisfied client's debrief.
Medrwn
Production of promotional video
Brief: To produce a bilingual video for DVD and web, raising awareness of the Medrwn project and to promote continued development of personal skills for proprieters and staff working in tourism-related businesses in Mid Wales.
The Centre for Alternative Technology
Supply of broadcast-quality footage.
Brief: To shoot material of the enormously popular visitor centre, to be used in a 'welcome' video presentation at the site. Pixel Foundry provided a two camera crew (including a polecam) for the production of this DVD.
Shelters Unlimited
Client support DVD.
Brief: Shelters Unlimited are makers and suppliers of authentic Tipis, Bedouin and Berber tents and their furnishings. They needed a way of demonstrating to the end user, exactly how to pitch a tipi. Pixel Foundry produced a DVD video for their customers to watch. The beauty of DVD of course is that it is easy to 'rewind' and 'fast-forward' through different 'chapter points', making it effortless to rewatch certain aspects of the video until the process of successfully pitching a tipi is fully understood. Promotional DVD
Brief: Life Story Ltd. is a personal motion-picture company offering bespoke services to private and corporate clients. Pixel Foundry were contracted to produce a promotional DVD as a marketing tool to Life Story's private market. Pixel Foundry: Three day, two-man shoot including interview and general views. Post produced at our facility including voice-over track and music. Supplied master-tape and 50 DVD's.
ELWa (Education and Learning Wales)
Documenting of a master-class.
Brief: To create a video document of a master-class about entrepreneurialism in Wales. To be used as a record of the event for archival purposes. Pixel Foundry supplied a three camera crew and sound mixer to document this master-class. The material was then offline edited and several approval stages offered to the client. The video was then on-lined at a post-production facility in Cardiff.

Performance during the contract
"This contract had to be delivered in accordance with an extremely tight timescale. Although the filming schedule required the contractor to visit various locations throughout Wales over a 5-day period, all filming was completed in accordance with the agreed timescale.
The contractor worked closely with the Contract Manager throughout the contract and presented regular progress reports, providing reassurance that the contract delivery was on schedule.
The Contractor presented early edits of the footage to obtain initial feedback from the Contract Manager and was always willing to accept feedback and implement improvements. This successful working relationship secured the delivery of this contract.
Quality of Product
"The quality of the bilingual NPQH video and DVD was highly professional. ...the contractor established an excellent rapport with those involved and succeeded in filming an open dialogue, which was both relaxed and professional."
Feedback from candidates involved in the NPQH production has been highly praiseworthy - all of the professionals involved thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The NPQH DVD was officially launched by Jane Davidson, AM at the NPQH Awards Ceremony in April. Feedback from the Minister, teachers, headteachers, LEA professional officers in response to the production has also been extremely positive. Customer Service
