In Production
Pixel Foundry is currently in production a 3 x 30 min series with the working title of 'Eglwys Holl saint Cymru' (All Saints of Wales Church), for S4C and for transmission later this year.
Resurection, Prophesy, Pilgrimage, Holy Relics and a Kebab Shop in one of Britains most economically deprived areas provide colour and entertainment to the story about 'Eglwys Holl Saint Cymru'. A recently derelict Anglican Church has been rebuilt and re-dedicated to the Orthadox Church and is part of the Orthadox Mission in Wales. Commonly associated with the Christianity of the East, the church in Blaenau Ffestiniog is the most westerly Orthadox Church in Europe. This series has followed Father Deiniol, the church's priest, for four years and has seen the Church transform from its derelict state to its current use as a fully functioning place of worship. Father Deiniol has itchy feet and his calling takes him to some amazing places around the world. In Macedonia Father Deiniol conducts a service from a monestary on the top of a high mountain after a perilous journey in an old car with no petrol, in Turkey he visits fresco-painted churches that have been hewn into the rock and in Kansas, in the middle of the Great Plains, Father Deiniol delivers a lecture on Welsh Saints to 60 American Orthadox Priests at an annual priestly get-together. Without being evangelical this series informs and entertains, bringing a genuine human story to the screen.
